It may seem obvious but you look around the web and see how confusing websites have become, flashing logos, moving text, hundreds of adverts, hunt the link et.. etc.

We believe that a website is to convey a message not to give your prospective clients eyeballs a work out, so we like to keep it clear (yes we can spell it right).

Your website is about you and your company so we want to help you to make it clear to your potential customers what you do, how you do it and why you should do it for them.

Not all your visitors are going to be web- savvy. You want to make all your visitors feel comfortable.

If you need to be technical let them choose, tell them the basics and give them a choice, more information or technical information links usually do the trick. Those that want the hard stuff are satisfied, those that don’t move on to the next subject instead of ‘I don’t understand this lets try another site’.

Simple navigation is important and keep it consistent. There are so many ways of providing a link so consistence is important, you don’t want to confuse your customers before you start. That’s not to say you cant use different types of links but you should cover all the bases, an image link is good but maybe not all your images are links so put an obvious text link there too.

If you want them to look at your site why make it difficult. Keep it simple, you never know they might come back or even tell their friends.
